Seems like an awful lot, but I must admit that I don't like them. I think I could produce a warranty repair ticket for ours when it was about a year old, and it had some of the trouble you describe as well as a burnt valve and transmission trouble. Was not a real good tractor, it was purchased to be a step up from our 450, and was a serious disappointment. Less than 50 hrs. per year? I will go way out on a limb and guess that the tach has been replaced. The steering was not real rugged on them, it would seem that loader use probably didn't help any. As far as real usable power, you could end up missing your Super M.
