If you have a lot of hours on the 706, I would suggest you get the radiator boiled. I had all sorts of crud come out of my 3 H radiators that I had boiled. I mean a lot of stuff. If the water pump isn't leaking, I wouldn't think that would be the problem unless the impellar is messed up.
