Yes cost of mag parts are high. If you went to the parts counter and the man say $15 for a 6 volt coil or $60 for the mag coil guess what most guys did. yep converted them.
I like it becasue you can run it if the battery goes dead. Having a bunch of tractors makes it tough to keep up on batterys!
