I guess I got turned off om hand cranking and magnetos back in fiftys when it fell my lot to cultivate with a hand crank F20 all summer for several years. On damp mornings the F20 did not like to start so I started parking it on top of small hill and if it would not start I would go to barn harness mule and pull it off down hill and when it started I would stop mule with brakes (it had 2 brake pedals unlike most I have seen), worked every time.
