Bob everone has good advice I just got done with my 51 SA last weak and did all the work myself. I put in a new clutch,front crank seal,valve job,did not need any lower work. runs great but back to the gears mine was real bad I split it at the trans and put all new bearings in it and it sounds great now. paid about $50 a bearing good luck
