I'm getting ready to change the fluids in my '49 H this weekend and read that ONLY SAE 30 non-detergent oil should be used in the internal hydraulics, due to "wide" clearances in the belly pump. I presume that this means the H hydraulics can not be used with "modern" hydraulic equipment that would use Hy-Trans or other hydraulic oil... So what's the right thing to do here?... a) Use SAE30 and get a different tractor to run hydraulic equipment. b) Use Hy-Trans or equivalent and chance a low pressure condition and inadequate seals (for the thinner oil) on the factory loader. c) Not worry about it and mix the two (This just sounds WRONG to me) d) Something else? Thanks in advance, Nathaniel
