I"m getting back to plumbing a three-point hitch I"ve assembled from gathered parts. It looks like a well-made homebuilt done pretty close to the Saginaw design. I"m planning to run a hose from the left (clutch) side high-pressure outlet from the belly pump - back to a T at the rear edge of the deck. After that I thought I could run a pipe to get the right side of the deck and then I"d run a hose from there to the right cylinder and a hose from the left side of the T to the left cylinder. This would make my pipe-hose setup asymetrical but my intuitive, naive grasp of hydraulics tells me this would not make a difference since the volume I"ll be displacing on either side will be equal. The pictures I"ve seen of the saginaw setups have had symetrical plumbing schemes with the T happening just above the middle of the hitch. Will the first setup I proposed above work O.K.? Thanks for your time.
