Yep. Had my daughter crank while I watched. Not very entertaiing.

I was plowing snow last Wednesday after our last blizzard (18", and no electricity for 30 hours). Worked about an hour. Made the last push out of the drive and dropped the front wheels into the ditch. Not real deep, but enough packed snow and ice under the rear wheels to keep me from getting out. Got a shovel and dug out for the front wheels and under the rear as best I could.

The tractor didn't want to start, but eventually started sorta cylinder by cylinder. But when I applied load it just lost RPM's, no power. It would rev up without load, but lose power and RPM when I let the clutch out.

So I got the truck and SWMBO to drag it back to the house. (Have you ever backed an M at 10 miles an hour? SWMBO thought she might not make it up the drive if she went slow!)

The M burns some oil and runs a little rich, so usually that means it's time to clean and gap the plugs, which I did. No start at all, not even a pop. Checked for spark, none. Replaced the plugs, wires, and cleaned and gapped the points, put in a good condenser. No spark.

Did it all again, and still no luck.
