Lots of things here for me to try tomorrow. I can tell you the idle metering is OK. I tried it in and out and found the 'best' speed which was only faster! Need to know more about the binding. When I installed the carb, i could place the finger from the gov, in the right spot by pulling up on the tube. Only way I could align them. Need to know about adjusting governor to match carb. I also read in the archives about the throttle plate can be 'not closing due to very minor side play adjustment. Will check that, and also see if it is in there upside down. Half the fun of doing thes old machines is the diagnosing right? If it was easy we'd be playing checkers instead? Thanks to all for the help. Let you know tomorrow. It's start to rain! It would sure help the two fields of alfalfa we just put in. Dust like crazy behind that Brillion drill/cultipacker! Gordo
