On a regular H, you remove the front shaft by pulling the front bearing retainer with the tapped holes in the retainer. Then you slide the pinion shaft & bearing forward and lift it out. The bearing is a slip fit in the bore. Be careful with the pilot bearing between the two shafts. If its bad, little pieces & parts will fall down in the transmission. ken
