On the C, the only lubrication for the outer axle bearing is the grease fitting out there on the end of the axle carrier. Actually the fitting is on the bearing retainer that bolts to the end of the axle carrier. There is a seal where the axle enters the transmission housing that is supposed to keep any transmission oil from getting into the axle carrier. In actual practice, many times the seal is bad and lets the transmission oil get into the axle carrier and eventually leak if the gaskets and seals are not good. So give the fitting at outside end a few shots of grease. The manual says to grease them every 10 hours of operation. Can't see why they would need it that often though.
