99% of the time they work just fine, since they are made to fit your tractor. Shoot you can use a good number of starters on them. Ones from a B, A, C, H, and M will all fit but some don't have the torque that to ones that came on them when new have. H starter are easy to find this site, valuebilt and many many other have them
