Mark, Have you tried putting a little pressure on it. My 340 draw bar sometime requires me to back up to a tree to get it to fit in all the way but will come right out after I use it a while. I keep my hitch pockets greased but that also makes them attract dirt. If I were only lacking an inch like You say you are I'd see if a sledge would put them home also look for dirt buildup in the pockets, They are supposed to fit tight. PUTTER
