Well today was one heck of a day. At the farm today one of the guys was drving the 140 and came around the corner and ran smack into the side of a pickup. No one was hurt but the side of the truck sure is damaged at the door. You could turn the steering wheel on the tractor but there was no reaction to the wheels although the steering shaft did turn. Come to find out about eight years ago my uncle broke something (worm gear?) but they just kept on useing the tractor. So now the grill is all bent, tie rod bent, and one light bent backwards. I didnt get into trying to fix anything but was wondering if yall think its the worm gear thats broke? What else might it be? Guess I need to take that big nut off the end and see what all is messed up. I dont think I like being the "tractor guy" anymore. Then went home and worked on the rideing lawn mower cause my son had ran over an old tree stump and bent the deck. Course he wasnt any help cause he was out chaseing girls. I wish I was 18 again. lol
