Dave: Rockford clutch was introduced about mid 1953. My Super A, serial number 336977 did not have it, but it occured less than 25 tractors after mine. Super C was done about same time. I do not have the info for H and M, however, all 00 series tractors had Rockford clutches. Most replacment clutches, for all IH tractors back to 39 have been Rockford. I know when I replaced the clutch in my Super A, mid 90s,dealer partsman told me he hadn't stocked anything but Rockford since the late 60s.
