1566 3pt Lift Lever

The 3 point hitch seems to work fine on our 1566, but the lever will not stay in the rised postition. by itself. I've been using a grader blade, so one hand is almost always on the lever at all times. When I've needed the keep it up, I've been clamping a pair of small needle nose vice grips ahead of the lever to keep it back.

Whats the fix for this?
