I won't be buying gas Tuesday but I doubt it will have any effect. If there were a free market for gas with demand effecting supply then reducing demand should lower prices. There is no free market now so if demand were reduced 50 percent the oil companies working as one unit just raise prices double and still take in the same amount of money for less gas sold.
