Erik: This isn"t the first time I"ve heard what Erik is saying. If this is so, these cast wheels should have a date code later then 1957. If the casting date code is pre 1957, then your uncle must have changed them. The spindles and bearings are the same, thus it is an easy switch. The last time I heard this 140 with cast wheel argument, it turns out the particular tractor had been changed by the customer. Personally I never seen a 140 with cast wheels, other than photos, thus I"m rather skeptical any where ever equiped that way from factory. They may have been sold new by a dealer with cast wheels.
