I will post my findings tommarow. when i get there i will have him pull me on the md in diesel mode and hopfully she go. Thanks for all the good advise so far. I have 3 farmalls allready and the md will be the biggest one i have, the 1953 stage 2 super h has almost the same power. but the diesel will get better fuel economy. my 43 h runs real good it was in rough shape when i got it. but i got her purring again. i have a 44 h with a 6foot mower and it ran real rough so i adjusted the valve tappets and that helped. the guy befor me dint know he had a bad plug wire and ran it like that for who knows how long. any way i cleaned the carb and put a quart of tranny fluid in the full gas tank. put new plugs and wires adjusted the points and timing. drove it on the road and whent up hills and it started to chug out black carbon build up and was burnimg the tranny oil. every time after it chuged out black stuff it ran better and better. i ran that tank almost gone and filled up with fresh gas and it started to run better and better. The guy had ran it so long with a dead piston it gummed up the exaust valve and that let to a miss. now it is running almost perfectly. It is nice if you can get by without taking it all apart. That H is a X1 gasser. lots of power! 135 lbs compression across the board. now it has lots of snort. it would put up a good fight with my stage 2 super h well gotta go. I will let you know what happens with my md. I think we will get it running right there as to make it easyer to load. i will figure out the gas problume when i get her to my farm.

Since this can be extremely difficult, you may want to fabricate the item or purchase a modern replacement temporarily, but eventually, you s
