Correct. Were your old guides worn? Or are you just replacing them because they came with the kit? In my experence the guides often are in good shape, its the valves that need replacing on an H. Also those new guides will most likelly need to be reamed so the valves fit correctally. So to sum it up, head and valve work is best left to a good machine shop unless you have the proper equipment and knowlage to do the job.
