I have an early 60s model 140. When cold, the pressure gauge moves up about 2/3 of the way then drops to barely registering when hot. I checked a few times by removing the valve cover to see if upper engine parts were lubed. Everything seemed ok. I have used this tractor since 1978 with no engine issues and it is still going strong. I do have to add a quart once in a while. Hope this helps.
