both are for the light switch, if so equipped. earlier models with only a cutout on the generator had 4 position light switches to also control the charging rate. newer models had a voltage regulator and a 3 position light switch. some early models were field retrofitted but still have the 4 position switches with the charge rate selection disabled. simple answer is check the number of positions your light switch can turn to. O D B stands for Off Dim Bright, and L H D B stands for Low charge rate High charge rate Dim lights Bright Lights. hope this helps karl ps odb is also a rapper ;)
