Well Glenn, this is my first time on tearing one down this far. The most involved project I did prior to this was replacing leaking seals in the PTO & belly pump on my 49 H. This tractor was bought at auction and the guy that had it looked like he had his own salvage yard. He had it sitting in his lot for at least 10 years according to his family who was having the auction. That's about all I know about it. Yes I plan on getting into painting once I save up for a nicer compressor and paint gun, I figure I have enough to do on cleaning up both these tractors to last me a while. Not really sure what I will do with them once I get em fixed up, Probably end up selling them at a loss so I can start over on another one ; ) This makes a total of 3 H's that I have, the 1949 H is the working tractor that the wife uses to haul off the horse manure, It's in pretty good shape. This is all just a hobby to me, so I am in no big hurry, But I am starting to get addicted to the smell of PB Blaster ; ) Randy
