Its been converted to 12v Neg. ground already. I have not had any problems so far with the points. But I do no my father-in-law and his mind set was "get close it will work" He was not the type of person to go by any type of manual. He was well know to be a rigger. So the reason I have considered the EI is to avoid problems in the future. Also have any of you experienced better performance when you did the conversion?
