This is my honest opinion, but I wouldnt do it. My 154 with the IH 60" mower was ok for the 2.5 acres I was mowing with it, but my old Craftsman 42" was faster than my 154, left a better cut and was cheaper to operate. With my 154 I was out in the yard about 4 1/2 hours, with my Craftsman 4 hours. I now have a zero turn and have cut that time in half. Now if my 154 had had the "two speed" tranny, then I may still be using it.
