Thanks everybody...that sounds like what happened...I did force it out of gear... tractor vet...I did notice after doing a book adjustment that there is a lot of wear in the linkage...I'll try what you said... I did notice it wouldnt coast out of where I park when I unblock the wheels to go work....I thought I had the brakes too tight...I was going to put new discs on before baling but have to wait till I get seals...housings had oil in themone had the brakes wet.....need to get a seal but how does the inner friction plate come off to get at the seal?? I'm off to search the archives if it will come up...thanks again
