When I first got it my SH had exactly the same problem. Fix is to adjust (shorten) the throttle shaft bellcrank under the vent tube cover. Remove the cotter pin and pivot pin, then loosen the locknut and give the bellcrank a turn or two clockwise on the connecting rod. Then put the pivot pin back in and run the engine - it may take two or three to find the correct adjustment so it idles down correctly. Finally reinstall the cotter pin and gently tighten the locknut. Tip: Be careful to not drop the cotter pin or bellcrank pivot pin down the riser tube!
