First check for good fuel flow thru the line and also out the bottom of the carb drain should be real close out of either one . Next check thre govener for any woren parts inside . These problems are hard to trouble shot over the key board and not being next to or on the tractor when it starts doing this . are ya running Hightest gas in it ?? if not ya should be . Also ya did not say if it was a C263 or a c291 . Have ya done a tune up latly and checked timing , here is where we need to know WHAT engine so ya know where to set timing.
