Hi All, Having monitored this forum for some time I know this question has been asked and answered 100 times so please bear with me. I have a slight twist on the standard question after reviewing some of the documents on the Wisconsin Historical Society International/Farmall archives web site. What I"ve seen posted here before is that the proper colors for a 1926 10-20 would be Dupont #27625 (Gray) for everything except the wheels and Dupont #7410 (Red) for the wheels. Is the Dupont #27625 the light gray or the dark gray? I"ve seen some 10-20"s painted with dark gray and they don"t look right to me after reviewing some of the old marketing literature. The early 10-20"s look like light gray to me. Also, according to meeting notes of the IHC Paint Committee on December 21, 1926 (from the IHC archives at WHS) they decided to change the color of tractor wheels from "Persian Gulf Oxide" to "Harvestor Red". I"ve never seen this Persian Gulf Oxide posted as a legitimate color before. But if I"m reading the Paint Committee decision properly then a 1926 10-20 should have this Persian Gulf Oxide wheel color. Does anyone have a paint code for this? And am I interpreting the document properly? Thank you for any help you can provide. And thanks to everyone who has helped me before as I"ve posted restoration questions on here many times. I"m finally getting close to ready for painting my 10-20 and want to make sure it"s done right. Greg

Since this can be extremely difficult, you may want to fabricate the item or purchase a modern replacement temporarily, but eventually, you s
