My 100 had steering from hell. So I disassembled it last weekend. Not being overly thrilled with the replacement sector gear, I decided to repair mine. A good friend threw it on the lath and pinned the sector gear to the sector shaft. Came out very nice. It was slightly loose on the shaft. The gear does have wear, but I'm not impressed with that Chinese cast knock off. I'm going to shim the bearing in the case head and see if I can't snug things up. The worm gear on the steering shaft is in excellent condition.
