42" takes the same pulley for a Cub part no WB-1-74 73/4 in dia. You will need to go with the biggest pulley available for the PTO and go to a smaller driven pulley to get your speed. unless you get an extended hub you can only use a 10 in drive without hitting the fender.
Driven pulley on my 42 is 10 inches.
