Tim, I called you regarding this. The symptom usually occurs when you are trying to "feather" the tractor in gear by slighlty letting out on the clutch and moving the selector into gear. My brother who has an Oliver "hangs up" my IH all the time because he is used to "feathering" his tractor into gear. I have only had this happen to me twice. To avoid the issue, hold in the clutch and move the selector into gear. If it does not go into gear, move the selector back to the gear you started in, let the clutch out, push the clutch back in and then move the selector into gear. As for the no start, I had the same issue so I replaced BOTH batteries and no more issue.
