Like Rusty said the shifter need some work along with some clutch and dump valve adjustment as this is one point that does not see the maintance that it should . As for your starting problems here a 1066 is a 12 volt system , now some one may have at one time added 2 twelve volt batterys when it should have two 6's . When one wants to jump start a 1066 pull the left battery cover and hook the pos. lead to the ft. post of the left battery and put the neg. lead to a good ground on the chassie , myself i use the head of the frame bolt . Also check your clutch safty switch it is under the floor plate on the left side and has linkage that hooks to the clutch pedal linkage.
