Good point. I rewired my H last year and it starts immediately even with the 6 volt system. I replace all wires including spark plug and coil. One thing to really watch is that you have a good ground. I had some trouble that finally turned out to be a poor ground but it took me a while to troubleshoot and fix. This is a cheap fix and well worth the time.
