I wire brush the paint clean off where I attach the ground cable. On the 45 and 46 H's I use the bolt next to the starter on the battery side. On the 51 H I have it bolted to the battery case base plate underneath the battery box. From my article I really paid attention to making sure the lights had a good ground so I wouldn't have to use ground wires.
