It is a pretty straightforward job to remove and replace the water pump bearings. You do have to remove the water pump though, it makes it a lot eaiser to rebuild. You will have to remove the fan before you can remove the pump. You will have to replace the two seals in the pump too, as they have to be removed before the bearings can be removed. I would check with NAPA for the bearings and seals. When I rebuilt the water pump on one of my H's I checked with NAPA, bearings were $16 each and seals $5 each.
