Thak you for your suggestions. I believe my next step will be to take the suggestion on the hydraulic cylinder. The cylinder has a flow reducing orifice and maybe when the oil is hotter it is restricting the flow enough not to work properly. With that change it may work similar to adding the bigger cylinder as suggested.
