The IH engineers sure weren't thinking when they designed that Cub hood/gas tank combination. Even if the hood and gas tank are separated, it is still not easy to remove the hood as it is attached with several screws and wiring for the lights, etc. The gas tank mount is only 4 screws and the gas line. All-in-all, if you have a complete Cub hood/gas tank assy as it came from the factory, it is just darn hard to remove, so I try to work up under the hood which is also a pain. Roger
