The piece that rocks back and forth to which the bands are attached, pulls out of the side of the tractor..so just rock it back and forth to make sure it is not frozen up and then simply pull it out of the housing..it sticks in there about an inch or less. After you have it out, you can tap the pins out, clean the piece and reassemble it. Make sure you pay attention when you take it apart so you do not put it back together backwards. tw
