belllymower on b farmall problem

i've put a used 6 ft woods bellymower on a b farmall and have a problem with the belt turning over or sideways on the power pulley. i've made adjustments and done all i can think of to cure the problem to no avail. have also experienced some problem with belt wanting to turn over at the center pulley on the deck. this could be a great mowing machine when i get the bugs worked out. looking for advice.
