Super M's gots trouble. If you screw up and leave the gas on over night the bowl gasket leaks just enough to let the gas evaporate and it'll empty about 2 gallons from the tank. The problem is that then no more gas will flow into the bowl. I can make gas go in like it's right if I kind of ease the bowl over to one side or don't tighten it up all the way, but then it leaks bad. It seems like there must be an air hole of some kind in the bowl assembly, but I wasn't able to find it. The gas tank is reasonably clean, as is the fitting from the tank to the bowl and the valve itself. The screen was a little dirty so I cleaned it with carb cleaner and it looks fine. The gasket was improvised years ago and seems to be a little bit too small. It's also rolled a little bit for about a half inch and it appears that that part is a problem because sometimes it's hard to get the bowl to seal good. CT has the entire assembly listed for not too much and I had considered getting that but I have heard bad things about their service and quality, and I'd really just rather repair what I have. Any ideas? I might not be able to check the board very often so if you could please e-mail suggestions to me craymond@gwi.net thanks.
