Thanks guys, she runs good does not seem to miss, skip, hesitate and does not smoke wide open at all however im not used to hearing a diesel engine either... I know that i have to fix the hand throttle there seems to be quite a play in the linkage that goes down to from the vertical shaft the horizontal shaft that goes to the friction disk set up (that to needs help). i guess the problem im having is that i believe its gets down to about 800 rpms and then it dies out... is there a 'kill' switch in the pump or something or can i turn up the low idle?
