I just rebuilt a pump for a Super A, which I think should be the same. A leak where the pump contacts the block should be motor oil not hydraulic fluid, UNLESS the drive shaft seal on the pump is bad. Call Carter & Gruenewald at 1-608-455-2411 and get a kit with all the seals. It costs about $25.00. Comes with detailed instructions. This is not hard, but you need a good clean place to work- clean the outside of the pump good before you take it off and don't let any grit get in the pump. Also, copy all the numbers you can find off the pump before you call. Also, you can get a gasket to go between the pump and block from them as well. Good luck.
