If the carburator was a bad as you say, then you need to completely clean the carburator, the fuel line and the sediment bowl. If the gasoline in the tank was old, it may run bad until that old gasoline is gone. You could try adding some Stabil (sp) and let it set for a day or so. Even after cleaning the carburator bowl and the sediment bowl, you may have to drain it down severl times to get it to clear up. We had this problem every time ours would set up over winter. Keep flushing out the carburator, the fuel line, and the sediment bowl until a couple of tanks of gasoline have been burned. If it still runs rough after that you have other problems.
