Ludwig, Far from being insulted in anyway, I enjoyed the heck out of your feedback! (LOL) Most of your points are good common sense. I think I view my potential hobby-business in a little smaller way, but I can certainly relate to your points about things like not taking vacations because of missing out on all the "crap I could have sold." Having been in various retail businesses in the past, I felt exactly that way. The way I see this, I would need to get a truck and trailer, at least. Would have to drive a lot to see, buy and pick up tractors and implements. Got a bit of an income now - I work at home writing computer software. Only problem is that it does take a lot of time, but I could at least keep weekends free. I have a 27-acre place where I could store tractors, but they'd mostly have to be outside. My "barn" is the size of a three-car garage, that's all I have, and it is mostly full of stuff (non-tractor things) already. Probably my best asset in this potential business is that my wife is as excited about it as I am. More comments from anyone greatly appreciated - please feel free to pipe in. - Jeff -
