706 with 282Dsl.

I've finished restoring a 706 but am having big trouble getting it to start. It's getting fuel to the injection pump but will not inject.It has the Roosa Master pump and even if I pressurise the fuel tank it doesn't make any difference.Any simple suggestions that might help remedy the problem before I go to the trouble of removing the pump and having it checked out.(big money)Thanks in advance.
