Redfan, you still have air trapped in the fuel system. If you have just painted the tractor you will not want to do what I am going to suggest but the best way to start the tractor is to loosen the fuel lines at the injectors and turn the engine with the starter until you get fuel coming and spilling at the injectors. Immediately retighten the lines, wipe up the spilled fuel and start the engine. Initially the engine will run rough but after a few minutes it should clear itself and run normally. Have a good charge on the battery so that it will whirl the engine nicely.
