Converting a B to an A

I've found a "B" very cheap. It runs good, has good metal and paint. Can I make this into an "A", by putting on the wide front, and the short left rear axle, from my old parts "A". This probably sounds crazy, to do this, but I like the "A" for mowing. Thanks,
