There are 2 small bends. The net effect is that the rear of the rod points straight forward, even though the front of the rod is further to the left where it attaches to the Touch Control arm. The early version of thge rod was slightly different from the later ones, and may have only had one bend. The rod shown on the 100 in the above posting has a non-original bend.
