Kenny, I can assist you but it will take numerous posts. First lets install the regulator as that may be all that is wrong. Verify the battery + post is to the to frame of the tractor. Disconnect the - lead from the battery. Remove the regulator wires from the old regulator. Use tape to mark each wire as to what terminal they came from. Remove the old regulator. Compare it to the replacement regulator. Are they exactly alike? Are the terminals marked and located as per the old regulator? Now look at the wires removed from the regulator. Does the F or FLD wire go to the F or FLD terminal on the generator? It should. Does the Gen or G wire go to the generator terminal marked A or ARM? It should. Does the BAT wire go to the - cable removed from the battery. All this being correct mount the new regulator. Connect the corresponding marked wire to the regulator terminals. Clean and reconnect the - battery lead to the battery. Strip the insulation from the ends of a piece of 6 inch 12 or 14 gauge wire. Momentarily connect this jumper between the GEN and BAT terminals on the regulator. All you are going to do is spark across these connections, no more. Start the tractor and observe the amp gauge. Post your results. Good luck
